Susan A. Lockwood, narrative landscape painter from Seattle, Washington displays her paintings, prints, cards, art, gifts, multimedia packs, and monthly subscription specials online at www.susanlockwood.com. Also find out where Susan Lockwood will be showing her work, more about the artist, links to other Seattle artists and galleries. Susan has been an active artist for the past fifteen years, and a full time painter for the past four. Combining the abstract, the symbolic and the figurative, most of her paintings can be considered narrative landscapes - landscapes coaxed from a base of abstraction, working with the paint and the painting to reveal a story within. Through her paintings she seeks to communicate the poetic, the sense of moving from touch to a scent, or sound to taste, and the memory within that.
